The compilers of this textbook have extensive research on Cantonese and possess many years of practical experience in teaching Cantonese to foreigners. We hope and believe that adopting this collaborative approach will allow peers from Guangzhou and Hong Kong to exchange ideas, thereby improving the quality of the. Today's Cantonese is sure to be well-received upon its release. With the publication of Today's Cantonese, we hope and wish that the exchange and cooperation between Chinese language teachers in mainland China and Hong Kong will continue to develop.
