Features: With the development of modern medical science and technology, China's urology has made significant progress. New diagnostic and treatment methods have been continuously promoted and applied, leading to a deeper understanding of the occurrence and development patterns of urological diseases. However, this has also brought certain confusion for doctors in selecting treatment methods and their level of disease awareness. To address this, the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association organized experts from various fields of urology across the country to form the editorial committee for the "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Urological Diseases in China." After preliminary preparation, repeated discussions, and analysis and evaluation of relevant domestic and international materials based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, the editorial committee developed diagnostic and treatment guidelines for overactive bladder, benign prostatic hyperplasia, renal cell carcinoma, and prostate cancer.
