Features: "The I Ching" states: "The sun and moon endure in the sky and continue to shine; the four seasons change and continue to bring forth growth. The sages, by long adherence to their way, bring transformation to the world." Scholars, looking up to the brilliance of the celestial way and delving into the subtleties of the earth, hold the world in their hearts, ceaselessly seeking knowledge, diligently cultivating their studies, and persevering with unwavering dedication. Through the hardships of their academic journey and the trials of their mentors, they temper their character and refine their scholarship. Perhaps they may achieve the talent of a five-wheeled carriage and leave behind timeless works. It is said: Without the ceaseless efforts of scholars since the Yellow Emperor, how could we witness the vastness of Chinese civilization spanning thousands of years! Today, the School of Civil, Commercial, and Economic Law at China University of Political Science and Law represents a group of contemporary Chinese legal scholars. Established in 2002, the school gathers the finest scholars from various disciplines of the university and embraces renowned and emerging experts from around the world. It comprises eight research institutes: Civil Law, Commercial Law, Economic Law, Civil Procedure Law, Environmental and Resource Law, Intellectual Property Law, Fiscal and Financial Law, and Labor and Social Security Law. To date, it has over 120 full-time faculty members, more than 50 part-time professors, 2,000 undergraduate students, and 1,500 graduate students, making it one of the largest teams of civil, commercial, and economic law scholars in China. Since 2003, the school has been dedicated to "strengthening academic rigor and refining research essentials," establishing the "Autumn Forum" as a platform for reviewing achievements and fostering exchange. During the autumn months, when the weather is crisp and pleasant, the entire school gathers together. The forum is divided into several sessions, each beginning with presentations by selected outstanding scholars (primarily young ones), followed by comments from renowned experts (primarily external ones). Attendees and guests engage in lively discussions, and the session concludes with a summary by the host. The forum is elegant in its charm and fervent in its atmosphere, leaving participants with the feeling of "the lingering sound of music, echoing for three days." It is said: Scholars debating in grand halls, their spirits soaring; scholars seeking knowledge in elegant rooms, their thoughts lingering in fragrance—this is the joy of learning. Through winding pine paths, talented individuals emerge one after another; under the falling geese of maple forests, great leaders reside—this is the achievement of an academic institution.
