Features: The SISU edition of the supplementary learning guide for the "New Japanese Course" textbook, presented before you, is the result of over a decade of teaching experience and continuous summarization of teaching practices by the authors. It can serve as both supplementary material for teachers to provide extra exercises and a helpful assistant for students learning Japanese. The exercises in this book are based on the authors' teaching students the "New Japanese Course," following the principles of Japanese language acquisition. They have been compiled and summarized into this volume. The content of the entire book is closely aligned with the corresponding textbook, progressing from simple to complex, highlighting key points, featuring concise and novel questions, and offering flexible question types, all of which are comprehensive and typical. The book is divided into two parts: the upper part corresponds to the first volume of the "New Japanese Course," and the lower part corresponds to the second volume. Except for vocabulary and reading comprehension questions, all other questions are presented in conversational form, facilitating learners to improve their language communication skills while mastering Japanese. Considering the progressive nature of learning, the first ten lessons in the upper part include Japanese-to-Chinese translation questions, while lessons from the eleventh onward switch to reading comprehension, with difficulty levels equivalent to the reading comprehension section of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 3. The reading comprehension questions in the lower part are equivalent to the reading comprehension section of the JLPT Level 2. To facilitate self-assessment, the reference answers to all exercises are provided at the end of the book.
