Features: China Modernization Report 2006 focuses on the study of social modernization. This report also completes a quantitative evaluation of social modernization in New China over 53 years (1950–2003) and an analysis of the World Modernization Index in 2003, providing a wealth of basic data and useful information for macro-level decision-making in China's modernization efforts. Currently, humanity is accelerating its transition to a knowledge-based society, with rapid advancements in science and technology and social development, and scientific exploration has no end. It is hoped that the research team can stay at the forefront of global development and continue to scale new heights in modernization research.
