Features: "Overview" consists of 34 texts, covering a wide range of topics such as German history, federal system, consumer rights protection, environmental protection, industry, foreign trade, social life, social security, university reforms, orthographic reforms, and foreigners in Germany. After each reading passage, there are several questions, multiple-choice questions, or fill-in-the-blank exercises, all designed to test the knowledge of German that readers need to understand and master. Each reading passage also includes a glossary of vocabulary. The answers to all questions are provided at the back of the book. "Overview" is primarily designed for students enrolled in intermediate German training classes, but it is equally suitable for corresponding self-learners. It is recommended that users first read the passages and then answer the questions, before checking the answers. Before attempting the open-ended questions, do not look at the answers, as this would deprive you of the opportunity to practice reading comprehension. The glossary is for users to refer to when encountering difficulties while reading, but it should not be checked before reading the passages, as this would hinder the development of the ability to infer word meanings from context and continuously improve reading skills.
