Features: Map display: The blue North Han River; winding like a bright silk ribbon, it meanders south from the highlands, passing through Huaiyang Prefecture, along the eastern foot of Baiyan Mountain, turning southward in Huaquan, heading straight for Hancheng. On its eastern bank, the dense, dark-white main peak of the Dabai Mountain range twists and turns, with its peaks towering and standing in the eastern part of the Korean Peninsula, forming an elevated backbone. A narrow three-tiered highway, like a gray fine thread, winds through the mountains between the and the North Han River. Here, one sees that which attracts all attention and touches the human heart – the battle line. The battle line, like wolf teeth, cuts through mountains, rivers, and highways, sloping diagonally into the northern side of the "38th Parallel." On the countless high points that make up this battle line, they are repeatedly altered by staff personnel, indicating fierce battles that took place here. The battle line advances and retreats northward in this manner.
