What is the high fever caused by lymph nodes?

Patient's question:

Is this fever high fever or caused by swollen lymph nodes? Is there any good solution? Can it be cured? Please give some advice.

Doctor's answer:

Considering the child's fever hasn't completely subsided, it is likely related to the incomplete resolution of inflammation. It is recommended to continue with treatment. For fever in children, the first choice is physical cooling. For temperatures below 38.5°C, frequent use of warm water bathing is advised. Use warm towels to wipe the limbs and back until the skin becomes flushed (avoid the chest, abdomen, and neck areas as the skin is sensitive and prone to shivering). Do this every twenty minutes to effectively lower the temperature. For temperatures above 38.5°C, medication to reduce fever is recommended, and it works quite well. If it still doesn't improve, hospitalization may be necessary for intramuscular administration of fever-reducing medication and further treatment.
