Features: This book is based on the "Basic Requirements for Teaching of Signals and Systems in Higher Industrial Schools" promulgated by the State Education Commission in 1995, and is a comprehensive revision of the book "Signals and Linear System Analysis" (Higher Education Edition, 1986). The third edition retains the original book's parallel structure of continuous and discrete systems, and the order of time domain followed by transform domain. A few contents have been adjusted and added or deleted. Combining the achievements of teaching content and method reforms in the past decade, most chapters and sections of the book have been rewritten, and many new examples and exercises have been selected. The book is clear in exposition, explicit in concepts, highlights key points, has a well-structured hierarchy, and is convenient for teaching. The book includes eight chapters and seven appendices: Signals and Systems, Time-Domain Analysis of Continuous Systems, Time-Domain Analysis of Discrete Systems, Frequency-Domain Analysis of Continuous Systems, [Domain Analysis of Continuous Systems], z-Domain Analysis of Discrete Systems, System Function, and State-Space Analysis of Systems. Each chapter is accompanied by exercises of varying difficulty levels for selection. This book can be used as a textbook for "Signals and Systems" courses in universities and colleges for majors such as electronics, communications, and automatic control, and can also serve as a reference for relevant technical personnel.
