Features: The National Adult Higher Education English Series textbooks are planned and recommended by the Ministry of Education for use in non-English major associate degree programs at various adult higher education institutions. Based on the "Basic Requirements for English Course Teaching in National Adult Higher Education (Non-English Major Associate Degree Programs)" issued by the former State Education Commission in 1997, this series includes four volumes of the main textbook "English" and four volumes of the supplementary self-study workbook "English Learning Guide." The series integrates language skills training with practical international communication activities, enabling adult English learners to combine learning with application from the very beginning—learn a little, use a little, master a little.
"English Learning Guide 3" consists of two parts: self-study exercises (including key points of each unit from the main textbook) and reference answers to the main textbook exercises (with reference translations of the texts). The self-study exercises are closely aligned with the main textbook in terms of content themes, grammar practice, and applied writing, while also incorporating listening training and communication dialogues. Self-assessment tests are provided after the 5th and 10th units for students to evaluate their learning progress. The reference answers to the main textbook exercises also include reference translations of the texts. This book is accompanied by an audio cassette.
