This book primarily uses the Suzhou Shaoyeshanfang stone printing edition of Treatise on Cold Damage (1920, Gengshen year of the Republic of China) as the main reference text for collation, and also refers to Collated Annotations of the Song Dynasty Treatise on Cold Damage by Zhu Youwu published by Hunan Science and Technology Press, Comprehensive Collection of Chinese Medicine · Treatise on Cold Damage by Fang Chunyang published by Jilin Science and Technology Press, as well as Lecture Notes on the Treatise on Cold Damage and Lecture Notes on the Golden Cabinet Precepts published by Shanghai Science and Technology Press for collation. There are several differences between the Treatise on Cold Damage passages in Wang's book and those in the Hunan, Jilin, and Shanghai Science and Technology Press editions. However, to preserve the original form of Wang's work as much as possible, annotations are provided for obvious differences, while the rest follows Wang's original text.
