International Economic Cooperation Legal Basis

Author: Zhu Hongliang
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1996-09-15
Features: Since its publication, the book has been warmly accepted by a broad readership, making a revised and reprinted edition inevitable. In fact, since the version was released, the world situation has undergone significant changes. The dissolution of the Soviet Union and the reorganization of Eastern European countries have drastically altered the economic interaction patterns in this region. The turmoil is still ongoing, and new channels of economic engagement between the former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries are currently forming, with the future still uncertain. However, one thing is certain: it will no longer operate according to the old model. The development of the international situation has prompted the book to undergo corresponding updates and revisions—Chapter 3, "International Trade Environment," has added a new section (Section 3), showcasing the new changes of the 1990s. Taking this revision opportunity, we have corrected the oversights of the version. There are also numerous updates, such as the inclusion of the latest and most widely used trading terms in the basic trade conditions of Chapter 9, "International Trade Practice." Some statistical data (e.g., Appendix 1) have been rearranged to more accurately and effectively reflect the actual situation. The discussion questions in some chapters have also been adjusted according to the updated content.
