About the Author: Dr. Robert K. Yin, a U.S.-born and raised Chinese American, earned his B.A. in history with honors from Harvard University and his Ph.D. in brain and cognitive science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Although he studied Chinese at Harvard and wrote his undergraduate thesis on the Wuhan Uprising of 1927, his career has been dedicated to researching U.S. public policy and projects. Dr. Yin gained widespread international acclaim for his book Case Study Research: Design and Methods, which has been printed 37 times in the U.S. and translated into Japanese and Portuguese, becoming an international bestseller.
