How are orchitis patients treated?

Patient's question:

A few days ago, I got orchitis, and after a few injections, it improved. Later, I took several herbal patches, and now my testicles are not red or swollen, and they don't hurt when touched, but occasionally there is an unconscious mild pain. How should orchitis patients be treated?

Doctor's answer:

Orchitis is a common perinatal infectious disease in males, more prevalent in young and middle-aged adults, and rare in the elderly. Orchitis is usually caused by bacteria and viruses. If not treated promptly, it may lead to conditions such as prostatitis, endocrine disorders, kidney diseases (e.g., nephritis), urinary tract infections, and malignant tumors. The main symptoms include: sudden onset, high fever, chills, pain in the affected scrotum, tightness and redness of the skin, swelling, urgency and frequency of urination, significant tenderness, and possible (cysticercosis of the second nerve sheath).
