Author: Wang Hongming
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2000-09-03
Features: The editions of this book were published in 1990 and 1991, respectively, and in 1995, it won the Third National Education Commission Outstanding Award for General Higher Education. Since its publication, the book has been in circulation for eight years. To adapt to the needs of modern electrical engineering, modifications were made to the edition, and the second edition was published. This book (Second Edition) was compiled according to the basic teaching requirements for undergraduate engineering foundation courses "Electrical Engineering (Electrical Engineering I)" and "Electronic Technology (Electrical Engineering II)" issued by the Higher Education Department of the former Ministry of Education in 1995. It remains divided into two volumes. The first volume covers "Electrical Engineering," including topics such as circuit analysis, AC iron-core coils and transformers, motors, relay-contact control, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The second volume covers "Electronic Technology," including analog electronics, digital electronics, and power electronics. This book embodies the author's extensive experience in teaching electrical engineering at Tsinghua University for many years, blending teaching with learning. The text is detailed and concepts are clearly explained, making it convenient for self-study. In terms of content, it equally emphasizes both strong and weak electrical circuits. In addition to meeting the basic teaching requirements, it appropriately includes some content to broaden knowledge. It is suitable for a wide range of disciplines and can meet the needs of modern electrical engineering schools. This book (Volume II) can be used as a textbook or reference book for non-electrical major undergraduate and junior college students studying electronic technology in higher vocational colleges, or as a reference book for non-electrical engineering technicians to understand related electronic knowledge.
