Mathematical Analysis (Volume 2)

Author: Shao Guoping, edited by Zhang Yangwen
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-07-01
Features: Since 1985, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has launched pilot classes, youth classes, and adhering to the school's principle of "engineering students with science requirements" to cultivate high-quality comprehensive talents. Following the principle of teaching students according to their aptitude, we have offered the "Mathematical Analysis" course to these high-starting students, with a duration of one academic year. Due to differences in teaching (students), teaching hours, and specific mathematical requirements, the authors of this book, based on more than ten years of teaching practice, have repeatedly compared and selected the existing teaching materials for this course, integrating the strengths of various sources and expressing their own views to create this book. This textbook is divided into two volumes, with this being the second volume, covering topics such as improper integrals, series, and multivariable calculus. The guiding philosophy behind the writing of this book is to make it suitable for engineering students in pilot classes with a solid foundation, as well as a reference book for students in applied mathematics, computer science, and other engineering fields with high mathematical requirements.
