Features: This edition of Higher Mathematics, Volume 1 and Volume 2, is a textbook used for undergraduate higher mathematics courses in higher industrial colleges. The book was organized and written by the Higher Mathematics Teaching and Research Group of Tianjin University, based on previous editions of Higher Mathematics published by Tianjin University Press. During the writing process, the authors referred to the basic requirements for teaching higher mathematics in higher industrial schools, combined with actual teaching practices, and fully considered the content requirements for the mathematics entrance exam for postgraduate entrance exams (Mathematics I). Volume 1 includes 7 chapters: functions, limits, derivatives and differentials, mean value theorems and applications of derivatives, indefinite integrals, definite integrals, and spatial analytical geometry and vector algebra. Volume 2 includes 5 chapters: differential calculus of multivariable functions, multiple integrals, line integrals, surface integrals, series, and differential equations. Each chapter is followed by a sufficient number of exercises, and the answers to the exercises are provided at the end of the book.
