Features: The criminal procedure system is not only related to the intensity of combating crime, punishing offenders, and judicial fairness, but also concerns the rights of suspects and their protection. Therefore, all countries regard it as an important system and continuously improve it. In today's world, due to the differences in national conditions and legal traditions among countries, their criminal procedure systems are also diverse. However, with the increasing frequency of international exchanges, law as a culture is gradually permeating and integrating. Especially in the context of reforming and improving China's judicial system, how to base ourselves on China's national conditions while learning from and borrowing the strengths and experiences of foreign countries has become a consensus among many knowledgeable individuals. In light of this, we have translated and published Exploring the Criminal Procedure System of Foreign Countries, showcasing various insights and perspectives from scholars in some countries on the reform of criminal procedure systems in recent years. From these works, we can see the trends in the development and reform of criminal procedure systems in these countries. "He who would be a master of anything must expect to sit at the feet of masters." We sincerely hope this book will benefit colleagues engaged in the research and practice of criminal procedure systems both domestically and internationally. This book is a collaborative project between the Canadian Embassy in China and the National Prosecutors College of China, organized and translated by the National Prosecutors College.
