Features: Since the publication of the first volume of International Business Law Forum, it has been less than a year. In this short period, humanity has entered a new century—the 21st century. It is an era full of vitality, hope, and at the same time, challenges. Economic globalization and informatization have challenged the traditional legal systems of the 20th century while shaping the new legal systems of the 21st century. International business law originated from medieval commercial law, carrying a strong international and innovative character. Undoubtedly, modern international business law should inherit this tradition. As legal professionals, especially scholars of international business law, it is our bounden duty to grasp the pulse of social, economic, and legal developments worldwide, align with the trends of these developments, actively conduct research, and dare to innovate. The medieval "merchant courts" and later "commercial courts" in some countries have always been important markers of the separation of civil and commercial law. The growing prosperity of contemporary international arbitration is also seen as an embodiment of the revival of international business law. The three articles and one translation published in this volume reflect, to some extent, some of the new developments in international arbitration.
