Features: The constitution is the fundamental law of the state. In the entire legal system, the constitution holds the primary position and serves as the foundation for other laws. All other laws must be formulated in accordance with the spirit and principles of the constitution and may not conflict with it. Constitutional law is an important branch of legal studies, encompassing the study of the constitution and closely related legal phenomena, including constitutional theory and constitutional institutions. To adapt to disciplinary adjustments and textbook updates, we have summarized recent teaching practices and the development of our institution to compile this Constitutional Law of China. This textbook primarily summarizes and describes the theory and practice of the Chinese constitution. To avoid repetition with the "Foreign Constitutional Law" course offered by our department, the content on foreign constitutions is kept brief. The textbook is divided into four parts and eighteen chapters. In the writing process, we have strived for conciseness, leaving space for instructors to teach and students to think, while also attempting to innovate in both content and form.
