Features: Since its inception in 1999, "Reference for Criminal Trial" has provided timely guidance and reference for solving various practical issues in the application of criminal law through its incisive analysis of typical and difficult cases, thorough reasoning, and authoritative elaboration. It has become a trusted mentor and helpful companion for judicial personnel and other readers, receiving widespread praise from all sectors of society. At the request of the readers, starting from 2001, "Reference for Criminal Trial" will change from a bimonthly to a monthly publication. In terms of content, in addition to maintaining the original columns, two new columns will be added: one is "Minutes of the Presiding Judge's Meeting," and the other is "Special Discussions." The "Minutes of the Presiding Judge's Meeting" column will leverage the collective wisdom of the presiding judges in criminal trial work to summarize judicial experience, study and discuss legal application issues, and provide references for judicial personnel and readers. The "Special Discussions" column will invite experts, judges, or other legal professionals to analyze, research, and explore the legal understanding and application of typical and difficult cases adjudicated by people's courts, or hot and challenging issues in criminal judicial practice, in order to broaden perspectives, inspire ideas, and improve the level of judicial work.
