Features: Moot court, as a teaching method that closely integrates knowledge and practice, should become a frequently adopted form in legal education and an integral part of China's legal education. Compared to other traditional educational models, it at least has the following characteristics:
1. It makes students the main subjects of learning. During moot court training, students must fully take on the role of lawyers in simulated cases;
2. Students not only deal with legal issues but must also handle factual issues;
3. Students must learn how to form legal opinions before the trial and deliver court statements and debates during the trial;
4. Moot court training is not limited to courtroom debates but is a systematic, comprehensive training process. It is precisely because the training provided by moot courts is more realistic, closer to practice, more systematic, and more comprehensive that it can transform the dry, scholastic legal education into an active and vibrant form. Many law schools around the world hold regular moot court competitions or offer moot court training courses to address the shortcomings of traditional legal education.
