Is my condition related to the prostate?

Patient's question:

I had a cold once, which made my throat hurt very badly. I got an injection, and both of these symptoms completely recovered for 3 days (I felt like I was fully recovered). After 3 days, the symptoms 1, 2, and 3 completely recovered again, with the condition severity as described in 1 and 2.
Medical history:
1. At the first hospital, the doctor said it was mild prostatitis and prescribed medication, but no intravenous fluids were administered. It was not cured.
2. At a traditional Chinese medicine clinic, the doctor said it was not prostatitis but internal damp-heat according to TCM theory. They prescribed herbal medicine, which I took for over a month. During the medication, there was some relief, but when I stopped, the symptoms 1 and 2, along with their severity, returned completely.
3. Also the most recent time, the doctor said the prostate was not prominent and was basically normal. It was finally diagnosed as a stomach issue, and they prescribed some medication, which I am currently taking. The effect is very insignificant (Tinidazole tablets, Levofloxacin hydrochloride tablets, Jinyinqcao granules).
Note: It seems I also had this issue about a year ago.

Doctor's answer:

Your symptoms are indicative of prostatitis and chronic pharyngitis. Prostatitis is often associated with frequent sexual stimulation, prolonged sitting, and excessive consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
Recommendations:
- Use traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate symptoms.
- During treatment, maintain a cold diet, reduce sexual stimulation, and engage in more physical activity.
- Quit smoking and drinking, and drink more water.
- Pay attention to lifestyle adjustments to prevent recurrence.
The condition of prostatitis is quite severe. It is recommended that the patient seek immediate treatment and follow the doctor’s advice for symptomatic therapy. At the same time, pay attention to dietary issues, avoid spicy and irritating foods to prevent worsening the condition.
