Features: The purpose of this journal is to: organize, interpret, and discover the convergence between the Chinese legal tradition and the world's major legal traditions, elaborate on the common and eternal values in Chinese legal civilization, and bridge the gap between tradition and modernity. At the same time, it aims to re-examine the Western legal tradition and recognize the true similarities and differences between Chinese and Western legal traditions. It strives to gain a clearer understanding of the complex relationship between the modernization and Westernization of Chinese law. The thousands of years of human legal civilization's development is a history of dual-rythm variation. On one hand, the legal civilizations of different ethnic groups continuously form and strengthen their unique styles and characteristics, deliberately maintaining this specificity and national identity. On the other hand, the legal civilizations of all ethnic groups are inevitably influenced by those of other ethnic groups, thus absorbing certain features of other legal civilizations to varying degrees and continuously changing their specificity and national identity. The contradiction and struggle between these two aspects constitute the evolution of human legal civilization.
