Features: This book attempts to introduce the personal guarantee law and real guarantee law implemented in France and Germany. The legislative sources of the guarantee law in these two countries are the French Civil Code and the German Civil Code. Case law and academic views are found in civil law, debt law, property law, and real property law textbooks published in these countries. Additionally, there are works that discuss both types of guarantees. In recently published banking law textbooks and treatises, guarantee law holds significant importance, with discussions more closely tied to practical applications. Currently, experts in guarantee law are often also experts in banking law. Civil law guarantee law and guarantee jurisprudence are rich in content, but the difficulty seems less than that of common law.
