Features: Building ownership as an important form of real property ownership in modern civil law has been widely established in the civil legislation of Germany, France, Japan, Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Switzerland, and Hong Kong since the mid-19th century to the 1960s, becoming a significant legal system in various countries and regions. This paper, based on comparative law and legal interpretation research methods, follows a logical approach of moving from the general to the specific and from the abstract to the concrete, conducting an in-depth, detailed comparative, analytical, and investigative study on the development history of building ownership, the composition of building ownership, the issues arising from building ownership, the management of building ownership structures, and several issues related to establishing a legal system for building ownership in China. On this basis, the author proposes a basic structure for the legislative framework of building ownership in China.
