Jinhuai piles

Publishing Date: 2003-06-01
Features: The works collected in Two Piles, except for a few chapters and several poems which are early works, were written after Wang Shixiang selected and compiled Tattered Jades in 1996. At that time, his left eye was already blind, and his right eye's cataract was worsening, making writing extremely difficult. As a result, there are very few manuscripts, most of which are short essays. He considered Tattered Jades even more trivial and, feeling deeply ashamed, ashamed. Now, at the age of eighty-nine, his energy is declining, and he knows he can no longer compile Three Piles. Wang Shixiang selected Tattered Jades II as a continuation of Tattered Jades. Except for a few chapters and poems which are early works, the rest were written after the publication of Tattered Jades. Volume One includes seven categories: memories of the past, calligraphy and painting, furniture, lacquerware, crafts, leisure activities, and miscellaneous manuscripts, totaling over sixty essays. Volume Two includes twenty-six poems, as well as three rare and valuable ancient books: Painting Interpretations, New Methods for Training Hawks and Falcons, and New Words on Furnaces.
