Preface
1. The entries in this dictionary are arranged according to the stroke count of the first character. Entries with the same first character are grouped together.
2. If the first characters have the same stroke count, they are arranged in the order of stroke types: horizontal (—), vertical (), left-falling (), dot (), and hook ().
3. Entries preceded by Greek letters, Roman numerals, or Arabic numerals are arranged according to the stroke count of the Chinese characters, such as α receptor, Type I allergic reaction, and 21-hydroxylase deficiency, which should be searched under the characters "," "," and "," respectively. Entries preceded by English words are also arranged according to the stroke count of the Chinese characters. If there are multiple entries with the same stroke count, they are arranged in alphabetical order based on the English words.
4. Each entry in the main text is enclosed in black fish-tail brackets 【】, while English entries are enclosed in parentheses ( ). Whenever possible, each Chinese character entry is followed by a corresponding term, generally not exceeding two English words.
5. The medical and technical terms and definitions adopted in this dictionary are based on undergraduate textbooks and the Medical Terms published by the National Natural Science Terminology Committee, striving to reflect the latest advancements in the field. Appropriate illustrations are provided for individual terms to aid understanding.
