What is a good treatment for nonliquefaction of semen?

Patient's question:

I have been married to my wife for many years, and we have never used any form of contraception, but we have never been able to conceive. After checking at the hospital, I found out that the semen does not liquefy well. What is the best treatment for this condition?

Doctor's answer:

Causes of non-liquefaction: The coagulation of semen is caused by coagulation proteins produced by the seminal vesicles. Liquefaction, on the other hand, is the result of a series of proteolytic enzymes excreted by the prostate, known as liquefying factors. Therefore, if the prostate and seminal vesicles become inflamed again, their secretory functions become disrupted, leading to a reduction in coagulation proteins or liquefying factors, which in turn causes non-liquefaction of semen. Non-liquefied semen causes sperm to become stuck together by mucus, hindering their motility in the female reproductive tract, thus leading to male infertility.
