(1) Based on the practical development of China's real estate industry in recent years and the emerging new issues, the second section of Chapter 1, "An Overview of China's Real Estate Industry and Its Problems," has been rewritten. Considering the close relationship between real estate law and property law, the content titled "The Relationship Between Real Estate Law and Property Law" has been added to the third section.
(2) In response to the latest developments in China's residential property transfer system, the second section of Chapter 5 has been supplemented with the "Legal System for the Transfer of Purchased Public Housing and Economically Affordable Housing."
(3) According to the "Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Applying Laws to Cases of Disputes Over the Purchase and Sale of Residential Property Contracts," which took effect on June 1, 2003, the relevant content of this interpretation has been added to Chapter 5.
(4) Based on the provisions of the "Property Management Regulations," which came into effect on September 1, 2003, the chapter titled "Legal System of Property Management" has been comprehensively revised.
