Features: In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Labor Law of the People's Republic of China," in order to further improve the national occupational standard system and provide scientific and standardized references for vocational education and training, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security commissioned the Chinese Society of Mental Health to organize relevant experts to formulate the "National Occupational Standard for Psychological Counselors."
1. This "Standard" aims to objectively reflect the current level of this profession and the requirements for practitioners. On the basis of fully considering the impact of economic development, technological progress, and industrial structure changes on this profession, it has clearly defined the scope of occupational activities, work content, skill requirements, and knowledge level.
2. The formulation of this "Standard" follows the requirements of relevant technical procedures. It ensures the normalization of the "Standard's" format while reflecting the characteristics of being occupation-oriented and skill-focused. At the same time, it also provides flexibility and practicality for adjustments based on technological development, meeting the needs of training, assessment, and employment.
3. According to relevant provisions, this "Standard" divides the profession into three levels, including content such as occupational overview, basic requirements, work requirements, and weight tables.
4. This "Standard" was completed through the joint efforts of various experts and practitioners.
