Features: This book is divided into four parts. The first part is an exam guide, including question structure, sample questions, question trends, and key points for answers. The second part focuses on key grammatical points, mainly covering particles, auxiliary verbs, expressions of giving and receiving, auxiliary verbs, and the tense and aspect of verbs. The third part presents basic sentence patterns, classified into 46 categories based on the categorization method of 500 Examples of Natural Japanese Sentence Patterns (written by Tomomatsu Eiko et al.). The fourth part is comprehensive exercises. Here, the book provides two sets of mock tests to help readers self-assess before the exam. In the explanations of the second and third parts, the grammatical meaning of each point and the main usage of each pattern are briefly introduced, accompanied by corresponding example sentences. In the example sentences, the source of the grammatical point or term is marked with a line. For the convenience of readers, all example sentences are provided with translations. The translations are as literal as possible for reference only. Additionally, based on the content and length of each section, the book includes exercises for each small chapter. All exercises are multiple-choice questions. Including the two mock tests, the book contains over 1,300 exercises, and a reference answer key is provided at the end of the book.
