The chapter structure and purpose of each unit are largely consistent with the first two volumes. However, the selection of content follows different priorities: the first volume focuses on outlining some macro changes and era-specific characteristics in contemporary society, emphasizing a broad perspective and large-scale themes; the content of the second volume primarily revolves around the healthy growth of students in terms of their professional development, emotional well-being, and physical fitness, with a focus on the student as the subject, topics that are close to daily life, easy to resonate with, and stimulate reflection; while the third volume guides students' attention toward the world, incorporating major news reports and achievements in fields such as international politics, economics, science and technology, and transportation, helping them expand their knowledge and broaden their horizons.
