Features: Based on the "Outline for the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination (French Translation - Level 3) (Trial)" and in line with the basic spirit of the "Provisional Regulations on the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination" issued by the National Human Resources and Social Security Administration, we have specially compiled this textbook, "Practical French Translation (Level 3)," for candidates. This textbook consists of two main parts: the main text and reference answers. The first part contains 16 units, each unit comprising "French model texts with annotations," "Chinese model texts with annotations," "translation techniques," and "exercises." The second part includes "reference answers for model texts" and "reference answers for exercises." When compiling the "model texts" in both Chinese and French, we primarily relied on the latest authentic materials, selecting up-to-date content from fields closely related to our work and daily lives, such as politics, economy, culture, art, education, tourism, and science and technology. The materials mainly come from publications such as France Today, Beijing Review, China in Context, and China Literature. To meet the practical needs of this textbook, we have appropriately edited, revised, corrected, and even retranslated the selected materials.
