Features: As a part of China's higher education system, the self-study examination is responsible for advocating self-study, encouraging self-study, assisting self-study, and promoting self-study at the level of higher education. Its duty is to pave the way for self-learners to achieve success by organizing the compilation of teaching materials for readers, which is a crucial aspect of fulfilling this responsibility. Without a doubt, such teaching materials should be suitable for self-study, facilitate learners in mastering and understanding new knowledge and information, enhance their innovative awareness and practical abilities, and help them develop self-study skills. They should also enable learners to apply what they have learned to solve real-world problems. Books with such characteristics, although we still use the term "teaching material," differ greatly from traditional textbooks that are solely for teachers to lecture and students to listen to. When the teacher does not teach, the students do not understand, with teaching centered as the core. In terms of content arrangement, format, and writing style, these materials are significantly different. We hope readers understand this so that they can establish a firm belief in learning independently from the outset, continuously explore learning methods that suit them, make full use of their existing knowledge base and practical work experience, and maximize their potential to achieve learning goals.
