Features: This book aims to elucidate the development and forefront of the discipline while highlighting the characteristics and advantages of nuclear medicine. It is intended to be concise, practical, and easy to understand, with a clear and approachable style. The goal is to enable learners to grasp the knowledge and apply it immediately after studying. It helps students gain a preliminary understanding of nuclear medicine as a discipline, the problems it can solve, and which nuclear medicine procedures should be the first choice for clinicians in disease diagnosis and treatment. Although the teaching hours for nuclear medicine in five-year undergraduate programs across domestic universities are generally limited, we do not believe that nuclear medicine textbooks should be overly simplified or contain minimal content. If the content is fragmented, students cannot truly recognize the importance of the discipline or master nuclear medicine knowledge effectively. We have also participated in the publication of "Textbook of Nuclear Medicine" domestically, which contains even more content and is significantly larger than the seven-year program textbooks. We have also made improvements in the content arrangement. The chapter organization progresses from simple to complex, with some chapters focusing on imaging procedures and others on diseases, primarily based on clinical utility and needs. This design facilitates clinical application, enhances learning, and improves integration with other clinical disciplines. We have added PET and PET/CT imaging techniques and clinical applications to each chapter. For the first time, this textbook introduces PET/CT fusion images or comparative images of PET imaging alongside CT and MRI images.
