Features: This set of training deliberately pursues four characteristics: comprehensive, lightweight, accurate, and innovative. The arrival of the new millennium calls for a large number of high-quality innovative talents; the emergence of such talents largely depends on the of quality education. Currently, high and junior high school students not only hope to have a set of new teaching materials that adapt to the development of the times but also yearn for a set of training exercises that embody the spirit of new education reform and are synchronized with the new teaching materials. Such training exercises should not increase students' academic burden but should improve their ability to comprehensively apply the knowledge they have learned in a relatively short period of time. The entire set is contributed by experienced teachers from the most renowned high schools in the country—Huanggang High School in Hubei Province. These teachers, who have been teaching for many years and possess rich teaching experience, have participated in the overall planning and question design of this training series. Based on an in-depth study of the new teaching materials and in line with new ideas and the actual needs of teaching across various regions, they have compiled this series of innovation ability training books. The series is edited by Chen Mingxing, a special-grade teacher and subject leader at Huanggang High School.
The guiding principles for compiling this series are as follows:
1. Based on the current teaching syllabus and new teaching materials, the series comprehensively covers all knowledge and ability requirements in a particular field. Training and testing are conducted from multiple angles, levels, and dimensions, forming a scientific, rigorous, and complete training system. The purpose is to enhance students' mastery of basic knowledge and skills in related courses.
2. Adhering to the teaching syllabus but not confined to it, the series develops a certain number of applied questions. Most of these questions are aligned with hot and focal topics in social life, guiding students to pay attention to the future and fate of the world, humanity, and the environment. The purpose is to improve students' ability to comprehensively apply their knowledge to analyze and solve practical problems.
3. The core of the "3+X" college entrance examination reform is to strengthen the assessment of students' innovative and practical abilities. Therefore, the compilers of this book have studied and developed a certain number of open-ended questions. The purpose is to foster students' sense of subjectivity and lay a foundation for cultivating their innovative spirit.
4. The design of the training follows the principle of "step-by-step progress and continuous improvement," avoiding repetitive questions on the same knowledge point at the same level and discarding overly difficult, broad, or deep questions. The overall difficulty is appropriate, with equal emphasis on objective and subjective questions.
5. The questions are designed in a standardized manner, with novel types and vivid materials. During the compilation, efforts were made to include new situational questions related to industrial and agricultural production, daily life, and new technologies, fully highlighting the practicality and applicability of the questions. The purpose is to stimulate students' interest in training and improve the effectiveness of testing.
This training is the best choice for students' self-assessment, parents' tutoring, teachers' evaluation, and school-wide exams.
