Features: Vocabulary is the cornerstone of language learning. Traditionally, students' methods of memorizing words are not only monotonous and boring but also extremely inefficient. I've put a lot of effort into memorizing words, yet sometimes I still don't understand them. In light of this, we want to introduce a new method of learning vocabulary to everyone. We connect seemingly unrelated words using some witty and humorous short stories, which is the vocabulary learning method we have invented. We first provide a story, and then a vocabulary list, making it not only simple and convenient but also highly entertaining. Theoretically, memorizing stories is easier than memorizing words because stories have a certain development line, which makes our associations richer. This is precisely the theoretical foundation for our series of story-based vocabulary learning textbooks. During the process of writing these short stories, we found that originally dull words can become lively and endearing; originally dull learning can also become vivid and interesting. This reminded us of the story of Columbus conquering the world by breaking an egg and standing it on a table. It turns out that there are no insurmountable challenges in the world—only whether we can find the key to overcome them.
