Features: This textbook is revised based on the "Nine-Five" Plan key textbook for financial majors in ordinary universities, "Actuarial Science." It is intended for teaching insurance majors in higher education institutions, employee training in insurance companies, and self-study. The textbook systematically introduces the fundamental knowledge, basic skills, and basic methods of actuarial science. Life insurance actuarial science differs significantly from non-life insurance actuarial science. To enable students to learn actuarial knowledge more comprehensively, the textbook is divided into two parts in its content arrangement: Part I is Life Insurance Actuarial Science, and Part II is Non-Life Insurance Actuarial Science. In terms of writing, life insurance actuarial science is the main focus, while non-life insurance actuarial science is only briefly introduced. The textbook is compiled on the basis of absorbing some domestic and international actuarial textbooks, combining China's actuarial practice to strive for innovation. Especially, all examples and exercises in the entire book are calculated based on China's Zhang experience life table, making the textbook's content more substantial and practically significant.
