Features: Peng Zhen is a name shining brightly in the history of the Chinese revolution. As an outstanding proletarian revolutionary and statesman, he made indelible contributions to the birth of the People's Republic of China and its journey to prosperity. Peng Zhen was born into a poor peasant family in Quwo County, Shanxi Province. His original name was Fu Menggong. After joining the revolution, he used many aliases in underground struggles and changed his name to Peng Zhen after the 19th National Congress of the Party in 1937. Peng Zhen suffered greatly from the hardships of life from a young age. During his youth, the Chinese nation faced bullying from imperialist powers, and the hardworking masses were oppressed by feudalism, which made him furious and confused. To seek a path to save the nation, he reflected and pursued. After coming into contact with Marxism, he quickly established a firm belief in communism. He joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League in 1923 and the Communist Party of China the same year, becoming one of the founders of the Communist Party of China in Shanxi Province. Peng Zhen had boundless love for the people. Whether in the war years or during the construction period, he unwaveringly adhered to the principle of serving the people wholeheartedly. After our Party became the ruling party, he even more strongly emphasized the need to adhere to the mass line in Party construction, state power construction, and legal system construction. He also unified the adherence to the Party's mass line with the adherence to the Party's ideological line of seeking truth from facts, believing that only by adhering to the mass line could one achieve seeking truth from facts, and that would inevitably lead to. He regarded this as the key to the success or failure of all work.
