Features: I often sigh that most people in the world learn English by memorizing words out of necessity, viewing it as a chore; of course, there are also those who enjoy it, but they are merely a handful. Although I am fortunate enough to belong to the latter group, I believe that sharing joy with others is better than enjoying it alone. Therefore, I have written some words, hoping to share with everyone the joy of word study. What makes vocabulary learning particularly engaging is etymology and the culture carried by words. English is an 80% hybrid language, a typical melting pot, with a significant proportion derived from Ancient Greek and Latin. As a result, the behaviors and customs of ancient Greeks and Romans have had a profound influence on English vocabulary.
