Nanjing University Drama Forum Issue 2

Author: Institute of Drama and Film Studies, Nanjing University
Publisher:
Publication Date: 2006-08-01
Features: The "Institute of Drama and Film Studies, Nanjing University Series" includes a series of academic works on drama, film, and television independently completed by scholars from our institute or in collaboration with scholars from other institutions. These works are published irregularly as soon as they are ready. We do not pursue any notion of a complete "system," but rather aim to add our own touch and voice in the vibrant academic world. Since humanity has already built an ancient tower inscribed with words by generations, and we who live by the word seem unable to escape it, we should at least carve our own ideas onto it, whether these symbols endure or are soon erased by others. This book is part of the "Nanjing University Drama Studies Series (2)" of the "Institute of Drama and Film Studies, Nanjing University Series." This series began in the mid-1990s. In the past decade, many works by our colleagues at the Institute of Drama and Film Studies have been published. Some were published as part of the series, while others, due to different project sources, did not carry the "flag" of the series. Encouragingly, these imprints on the ancient tower have not only been erased but have also received praise from peers, which motivates us to continue this series.
