Views of Ancient Sites and Scenic Spots in Jinling was published by the Commercial Press in 1936. The book originally contained three hundred and seventeen photographs, but after the devastation of war and the Cultural Revolution, nearly half of the negatives or photographs were destroyed. For this publication, approximately one hundred and sixty plates with available negatives or photographs were found. The remaining plates had to be scanned from the original book. Due to the aging of the original book's paper and the blurriness of some images, the quality of certain photographs may be affected. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause the readers.
