Chapters 5 to 7 connect reputation with property rights and property rights systems for research. Chapter 8 is dedicated to discussing special reputation subjects—government and its relevance to property rights systems. It analyzes the uniqueness of government as a reputation subject, proposes the argument that government integrity is the cornerstone of a modern credit society, and elaborates on the significant responsibilities governments bear in constructing modern property rights systems. The final chapter analyzes credit crises during the transition period. This book is a scholarly monograph in China that integrates the analysis of reputation with property rights systems. This research was fortunate to be included as a sub-project under the key discipline construction program of the "211 Project" during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, supported by Southwest University of Finance and Economics. The funding provided created the necessary conditions for the completion of this research.
