Features: This book is compiled from four aspects:
Volume I, "" (Temple Calculation and Enemy Assessment). This issue is a problem that must be addressed before studying war and battlefield strategy. Although not the main focus of this book, we still place it at the beginning, and this section serves as a preface.
Volume II and Volume III are dedicated to discussing stratagems and the issues of (subtlety, emptiness, and reality). Readers must remember that when studying strategy, the problem of "" (subduing by strategy and diplomacy) cannot be ignored. Especially the direct objective of ""—achieving victory without fighting, which is the highest realm and goal of military strategy. Meeting in battle and winning through bloodshed is not the best outcome.
Volume IV primarily studies the issue of "." Generally, it occurs before the confrontation of arms and armies, with the goal of achieving victory without fighting. It is distinct from (subtlety, emptiness, and reality) in achieving victory, but the two aspects are closely intertwined and sometimes alternate. Therefore, dedicating a certain portion to studying it is necessary. We believe this better reflects the essence of the issue, is more beneficial for research, and allows readers to gain more comprehensive knowledge.
