Based on the newly issued Vocabulary List for College English Teaching Program by the Ministry of Education and the new changes in the question types of the College English Test Band 4 and 6, this book has been revised on the original edition. It retains the essence of the original book while enriching its content, improving its format, and making it more distinctive:
Comprehensive – More Comprehensive Content
1. Additional entries have been added according to the requirements of the new program, addressing the original book's limitation of incomplete word coverage, enabling readers to memorize all the words and phrases in the program.
2. The memory of multiple meanings of words has been further strengthened to enrich readers' vocabulary.
3. At the request of many readers, abundant example sentences have been added under unfamiliar meanings of common words, difficult words, and all phrases, leveraging contextual memory to help readers not only memorize but also use the words effectively.
4. Nouns have been annotated with countable/uncountable forms and irregular plural nouns, while irregular verbs have been annotated with past forms and past participles. Synonyms and antonyms have been added under word meanings to facilitate memory reinforcement.
