Features: This volume of the Yearbook contains information on comprehensive social security work from 1993-1994. In addition to continuing the content of the previous two volumes, it introduces the participation of some member units of the Central Comprehensive Social Security Committee in comprehensive social security work, as well as the efforts of Chongqing Municipality and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in this regard. It significantly expands the introduction of typical experiences in comprehensive social security work across various regions, providing reference material for relevant departments and localities.
1. This book is divided into two volumes. The first volume covers the comprehensive social security work of 1991 and 1992, while also summarizing the general situation of comprehensive social security work from 1979 to 1990. The second volume covers the comprehensive social security work of 1993 and 1994.
2. It provides an overview of the national comprehensive social security work. It traces the proposal of this policy, briefly explains it, summarizes key arrangements and activities, outlines the experience, and proposes future directions for continued efforts.
3. It reflects the general situation of comprehensive social security work in provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government. It focuses on how localities implement important arrangements of the Central Comprehensive Social Security Committee based on their actual conditions, highlighting their unique work characteristics.
4. It selects decisions and related documents from the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on strengthening comprehensive social security work, as well as important speeches and directives by central leaders on this issue.
5. It publishes important documents issued by the Central Committee for Comprehensive Social Security Work (including those co-issued with member units), which are guiding, policy-oriented, and normative.
6. It includes laws and judicial interpretations related to comprehensive social security work.
