Features: Over the past year, the research team has focused on the central task of the year: "Analysis of the Driving Factors of Food Consumption Types and Trends in Key Regions." Multiple in-depth investigation and research activities were conducted in Shandong and Guizhou provinces. Based on this, several research reports were completed, including "Review of Food Consumption Research in China," "Economic Development and Food Consumption Evolution in China," "Food Consumption Types and Their Evolution in Shandong Province," "Food Consumption Types and Their Evolution in Guizhou Province," and "A Comparison of Food Consumption Types in Shandong and Guizhou Provinces." These reports analyze the economic foundation and development level of typical regions, major consumption types and their evolution, key factors influencing consumption type evolution, and future trends in consumption types, laying a solid foundation for the next phase of research. During the study, the research team received strong support and assistance from institutions such as the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Center for International Research on Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Japan, the Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning Department of Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture, and the Agricultural Regional Planning Office of Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
