Features: This book is organized according to general principles and specific rules, but the arrangement of the specific rules section is not the same as the Contract Law. Instead, it is set up according to four major categories. Contracts can be divided into contracts with opposing and consistent expressions of intent and contracts with parallel and consistent expressions of intent. Contracts with opposing and consistent expressions of intent are further divided into property transfer contracts, right licensing contracts, and service provision contracts. This book arranges the various types of contracts in this order, classifying contracts with opposing and consistent expressions of intent as right licensing contracts, and the third category as service provision contracts. Contracts with parallel and consistent expressions of intent are simple and are classified as the fourth category. Property transfer contracts are a general term for contracts that transfer property, including sales contracts, gift contracts, and exchange contracts. Sales contracts and exchange contracts are contracts that transfer property for consideration, while gift contracts are contracts that transfer property without consideration.
