Features: In the history of China's legal development, the translation of foreign legal codes has not only initiated the modernization of China's legal system but has also been closely linked with the modernization of China's legal system since the reform of the legal system in the late Qing Dynasty. The Foreign Litigation Law Translation Series is organized and published by the Center for Litigation Law Research at China University of Political Science and Law, and is financially supported by the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences under the Ministry of Education. The new Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is one of them. Since its publication and release in 2003, it has undergone more than 700 revisions in over two years. Therefore, we have based our translation on the new edition of 2005 and organized its re-publication.
